Course Overview
The NAPT100 is a 100-hour online training program that fulfills national certification requirements through the APNCC. It includes 10 modules and prepares students to sit for the national exam as an Activity Professional.
We offer two options: a Scheduled Track (10-week instructor-guided) and an Own-Pace Track (self-paced, up to 6 months).
Yes, you may transfer formats free of charge within the first 3 days of your course start date. After that, you may transfer to another format or to a later start date using the Transfer Request (a $200 transfer fee applies). If you need more time, you are allowed two total transfers; beyond that is considered a fail and requires starting over.
Our instructors are experienced, credentialed Activity Professionals with years of real-world senior-care experience.
Visit ActivityDirector.org → follow the 3 Step NAPT100 Enrollment Process → you’ll receive a Welcome Email with confirmation and further instructions within 24 hours.
Visit the Continuing Education section on ActivityDirector.org, select the course, and follow checkout to enroll with immediate access. You can access the course 24/7 and take as long as you need. After the final survey is submitted, your coursework is sent to your instructor and your certificate will be available for download at the bottom of your course homepage.

There are several APNCC certification paths. The most common requires:
- Completion of a training course — NAPT100
- Completion of 12 LIVE CE Hours (included with NAPT100 enrollment)
- 2,000 hours Activity experience
- Pass the APNCC Board Certification Exam

Live sessions are hosted directly in the classroom. You’ll receive reminder emails with links and times.
No problem! Topics repeat regularly, so you can attend the next session for full credit.
Course Progress & Certificates
Yes! Upon completing the NAPT100 or any CE course, you’ll receive a downloadable PDF certificate. NAPT100 graduates also receive a mailed hard copy.
Click “Finish Course” once all lessons are complete. Your certificate will appear automatically and remain available for download anytime.
Most quizzes allow unlimited attempts. If locked, contact support to reset it for you.
Email support@activitydirector.org with your name and course title. We’ll reissue it within 48 hours.
Email help@activitydirector.org before your access expires to request an extension or transfer.
The NAPT100 course has two versions: Scheduled runs 10 weeks; Own Pace is available for 6 months. Continuing Education courses are available indefinitely.
Yes! ADN courses are fully self-paced unless you choose the guided track.
Payments & Facility Support
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Klarna, and AfterPay. Facilities may also pay by invoice or purchase order.
There is a Purchase Order Contract in the NAPT100 Enrollment Packet that can be submitted with your Enrollment Form, allowing you to begin while payment is processed. If paying by credit card, include the student’s name in Shipping.

There is a 3-day grace period from the course start date where a refund can be issued (minus a $50 processing fee). After that, you may transfer to a later class or apply your credit to another student.
Yes, you may transfer up to 2 times in the NAPT100 course, or once to another CE course of equal or lesser value.
Yes! Group discounts are available for five or more students. Contact help@activitydirector.org for a custom quote.
